With the development of science technology and the needs of society,nuclear technology is more and more used in medical treatment,industry,agriculture,medicine,bio-science and so on,at the same time,extra ionizing radiation is produced.Especially after the Fukushima nuclear accident,the public has put more attention to nuclear technology and its radiation safety problems,which makes the personal and environmental radiation monitoring more important.Optically stimulated luminescence?OSL?,as a mew method of radiation monitoring,is applied more and more in production and daily life.In order to learn more about the dose characteristic of OSLD,to start calibration work for OSL dosimeters?device?system used in personal and environmental radiation monitoring for X and?ray as soon as possible,and ensure the reliability of the value's dissemination,National Institute of Metrology?NIM?build an OSL dosimeter device,including OSL reading device,annealing device,monitor ionization chamber and so on.Through quantitative research about Riso DA-15 TL/OSL Reader's various performance,we know the stability of DA-15 is better then 0.6%,the cross bleaching and heating is negligible,the radiation cross-talk rate is less then 0.3%,the time offset is less then-0.23s,and the leakage dose rate of radioactive sources is about 0.24mGy/h.With those results,we can find out the best radiation and readout way for OSL dosimeters.We use?-?l2O3:C,produced by Shanghai Institute of Silicate of CAS,as OSL dosimeters.The crystal is cut and polished to4.5mm*4.5mm*1mm,the original dispersity is 18.7%?200 pieces?.After filtrated,76 dosimeters were used in the experiment,the dispersity is2.8%,the repeatability is 1.4%,the energy response is better than 28%,and the angle response is better than 27%.The OSL signals keep good linear ranged from 20?Gy to 75Gy,saturation phenomenon are shown after 100Gy.And the thermos-luminescencs?TL?signals keep good linear ranged from 20?Gy to 3Gy at least.The expanded uncertainty of the system is less than 8.1%?k=2?.The device meet relevant international and inland standards and is able to start quantity-transfer work of OSL dosimeters.
