The Diagnostic Accuracy Of Conventional Forceps Biopsy Of Gastric Epithelial Compared To Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection:a Pre-and Post-procedure Comparative Study

Objective:To compare the diagnostic accuracy between conventional forceps biopsy and endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD).Methods:One hundred and five patients diagnosed gastric epithelial neoplasia(GEN)finally undertook ESD in our hospital were enrolled.We retrospectively assessed the characteristics of pathological results of CFB and ESD.Results:78 cases of endoscopic biopsy for low grade intraepithelial neoplasia in patients with endoscopic treatment of postoperative has 55 cases(70.5%)to maintain low grade intraepithelial neoplasia was confirmed,18 cases(23.1%)diagnosis for high grade intraepithelial neoplasia,5 cases(6.4%)diagnosis for cancerous.Conclusion:Endoscopic biopsy in the diagnosis of low grade intraepithelial neoplasia,may exist or progression to high grade intraepithelial neoplasia,some may have cancer,should take active treatment measures.
