Objective: To analyze the risk factor of early stent thrombosis(EST)in patients after percutaneous coronaryintervention(PCI)in order to identify the high risk patients at early stage and to reduce such complication. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 1109 coronary heart disease CHD(CHD)patients undergoing PCI who admitted in our hospitalfrom 2012 to 2014.Our work included 2 groups: EST group(n = 31),the patients with coronary angiography(CAG)confirmedlesions, and Control group(n = 93),the patients with matched age and gender(3?1),and the patients had no ESTafter PCI.Logistic regression analysis was performed to identify the independent risk factors of EST.Results: EST occurred at a median of(7.1±5.7)days after symptom onset, the in hospital mortality was 19.35%(6 /31).Compared with Control group,EST group had more Diabetes mellitus, acute myocardial infarction(AMI),lower Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),higher the white blood cell(WBC)count, the percent of neutrophile granulocyte, the serum c reactive protein(CRP)and the serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),all P<0.05.CAG presented that EST group had more B2 /all patients lesion, bifurcation lesions, long lesions, and long stents,P < 0.05.Logistic regression analysis indicated that the independent risk factors for EST included the diabetes mellitus(OR: 8.698,95%CI: 0.863~58.497,P= 0.034),AMI(OR: 1.437,95%CI: 1.131~2.021,P= 0.015),LVEF(OR: 0.893,95%CI: 0.813~0.981,P=0.018),WBC(OR: 1.593,95%CI: 1.112~2.130,P=0.009),BNP(OR:1.000,95%CI: 1.001~1.001,P= 0.023),B2 type lesions(OR: 3.346,95%CI:1.982~8.012,P< 0.001),bifurcation lesions(OR: 1.889,95%CI: 1.695~8.138,P=0.001),long lesions(OR: 1.758,95%CI: 1.002~2.117,P= 0.013)and more stent number(OR: 1.161,95%CI: 1.045~1.290,P= 0.005).Conclusion: Diabetes mellitus,AMI,low LVEF,highWBC,high CRP,high BNP,B2 type lesions, bifurcation lesions, long lesions, andmore stent number areindependent risk factors for EST occurrence in CAD patients after PCI treatment.
