Single Center Cavity For The Treatment Of Isolated Elderly Standford Type B Aortic Dissection Clinical Efficacy Research

Objective Evaluation of cavity for the treatment of isolated from Standford elderly patients with type B aortic dissection clinical curative effect.Methods 46 consecutive patients of ?65 with Standford B aortic dissection who underwent Endovascular therapy in Tianjin chest hospital between 2010 and 2015were enrolled in this study.All of enrolled patients recieved echocardiographycontrast-enhanced CT,hepatic and renal functions tests,and the blood and urine routine examinations before the procedure.After the procedure,annual review with the whole aorta CT was done for all paiens in the four time point: before discharge,3,6,12 months after operation.Deadline of the follow-up was December,2015.The outcomes of the whole aorta CT and survival rate of these patients were analyzed.Results 2 patients died in the perioperative period,and the other died in the new aortic dissection in the last 8 months after operation,Overall survival rate of 89.13%during the follow-up period.Conclusion The short and long term outcomes of endovascular therapy for elderly Standford B aortic dissection patients were satisfactory.Perioperative blood pressure control,strict imaging to measure and select the appropriate scaffold model is the key to successful operation.
