Objective: To observe the impact of three kinds of children’s toothpaste on the occlusion of deciduous dentinal tubules in the sensitive dentin model and comparatively analyze the anti-allergy effect.Methods: 25 healthy second primary molars with entire crowns were randomly divided into four groups,namely,the control group(without any treatment)and three experimental toothpaste groups(respectively treated with OHOLV children toothpaste,AOMINQING children toothpaste and SU SHUANG children toothpaste).First,five teeth were randomly selected for each group and were cut into dentin slices(3 mm × 3 mm size and 1 mm thick)by hard tissue cutter,and then were treated with 37% phosphoric acid for 15 seconds.After that,the preparation of sensitive dentin mold plates was completed.Second,these experimental teeth were brushed with different toothpaste suspension for one week,the frequency was eight times a day and 3 minutes each time(equivalent to continuously brush the teeth twice a day and three minutes each time for four weeks).Finally,the image analysis software was applied for scanning electron microscope(SEM)image processing and then calculated the blocking rate and penetration depth of the dentin tubule,which were conducted for comparing the effect of three children’s toothpaste on the occlusion of deciduous dentinal tubules.Results: SEM analysis indicated that all these three experimental children’s toothpaste had the impact on the occlusion of deciduous dentinal tubules.Comparing with the control group,the number of the closed dentin tubules in unit area and the penetration depth in unit length of three experimental toothpaste groups presented a statistical difference(P < 0.05)at a same time.In the comparative tests of three kinds of toothpaste,the blocking rate and penetration depth of dentinal tubules for AOMINQING children toothpaste group were optimal,which were 89.91% and 29.6 μm,respectively.SU SHUANG children toothpaste came second with the values of these parameters(21.52% and 22.2 μm,respectively).OHOLV children toothpaste came in last with the values of 12.86% and 6.8 μm,respectively.Conclusion: All the three experimental children’s toothpaste had the impact on the occlusion of deciduous dentinal tubules(P < 0.05).The effect of AOMINQING children toothpaste on the occlusion of deciduous dentinal tubules was optimal,namely the anti-allergy effect of that was best,SU SHUANG children toothpaste came second and OHOLV children toothpaste came in last.
