Objective:Bipolar disorder is a severe mental disorder with a high morbidity and heavy disease burden.the pathogenesis is not clear. We employed a meta-analytical procedure and reviewed studies conducted in Amplitude of low frequency fluctuation and regional homogeneity(ReHo)from resting-state fMRI with Bipolar disorder patients.Exploiting the statistical power gained from pooled analysis,we also investigated the effects of age, gender, illness duration on ALFF and ReHo.To find out the difference between patients with bipolar disorder and healthy controls.which purpose to find specific biomarkers for the diagnosis of secondary bipolar disorder. Methods:A computer-based online search was conducted in Pubmed,Embase,Ovid,Web of Science,EBSCOhost medline,Chinese biomedical literature database(CBMdisc),CNKI,VIP and Wanfang database to collect case-control studies on ALFF and ReHo in patients with bipolar disorder and healthy controls. The quality of included studies was assessed for Systematic Reviews of Interventions and data were extracted by two reviewers independently.Meta analysis was conducted by AES-SDM(P<0.005,k=10).We made coordinate pretreatment, heterogeneity test, sensitivity analysis, threshold test, meta regression analysis to findind out some brain areas of abnormal activity and syntheticing images. Results:A total of 8 articles were included in the study.Among them, there were 4 articles related to ALFF,with a sample size of 206 cases, including a case group of 103 cases and a healthy control group of 103 cases. The results of Meta analysis showed that, compared with the healthy controls, the brain regions of ALFF in the case group were higher than those in the control group, including left putamen, putamen, left anterior thalamus, right inferior frontal gyrus;ALFF values decreased in the brain area including the left lingual gyrus, the left cerebellar area((hemisphere lobule I,IV/ V,fusiform gyrus). There were 4articles related to ReHo,including a sample of 155 cases,of which there were a total of75 cases and a healthy image of a total of 80 cases.Meta analysis results show that, compared with healthy controls, patients ReHo value increased brain areas including right amygdala, right hippocampus, left caudate nucleus;ReHo brain regions including lower right superior temporal gyrus, left prefrontal gyrus, frontal back(MPFC).Conclusion:For patients with bipolar disorder,ALFF value anomaly area including the left basal ganglia region, right inferior frontal gyrus, left lingual gyrus and left cerebellum region,ReHo anomaly areas include the right amygdala and hippocampus, left caudate, right superior temporal gyrus, left prefrontal, medial side back to back, these shows that the incidence of bipolar the disorder may be related to abnormal function of these brain regions.
