ObjectiveTo investigate the status of parenting self-efficacy(PSE),anxiety and depression of autistic spectrum disorder(ASD)children's caregivers,so as to provide evidence for psychological intervention;And to explore the effect of Family-Focused Psychoeducational Therapy(FFPT)on parenting self-efficacy and moods of ASD children's parents,and to provide reference for ASD family management.Methods 1 The status of parenting self-efficacy and moods of ASD children's caregivers 1.1 SampleBy convenient sampling method to select caregivers of children with ASD from July,2015 to December,who diagnosed by Department of Child Healthcare,Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.1.2 Research methodThis part was descriptive research.The general information questionnaire was used to collect demographic data of ASD children and their parents.The Chinese version of Tool to measure parental self-efficacy(TOPSE),WW Zung version of Self-rating Anxiety(SAS),and Self-rating Depression(SDS)were used to measure PSE,anxiety and depression level of parents.2 The effect of Family-Focused Psychoeducational Therapy on parenting self-efficacy and moods of parents with ASD children 2.1 SampleFathers or mothers of ASD children who were first rehabilitation training in Rehabilitation Training Center from October,2015 to March,2016.2.2 Research methodThis part was a comparison before and after quasi-experimental study.Prior to the intervention,the main subjects were built by reviewing literature,surveying on parents' mental health service needs and interviewing experts,which including introduction of ASD,rehabilitation training,family problems handing,and emotional management,and it also implemented the preliminary experiment.The group form was used during the intervention,and the 4-week FFPT intervention was implemented by psychological doctors,nurses,rehabilitation trainer,once a week,90-120minuts/time.At the same time,the children and their parents went to training center for rehabilitation training every morning.All subjects were retest in pre-,post-intervention,and 1 month follow-up to assess the effect of intervention,the content of the evaluation as same as previous part.Results 1 The status of parenting self-efficacy and moods of ASD children's caregivers 1.1 165 caregivers of children with ASD received the investigation.The empathy(?R2=0.708,P<0.05)and discipline/setting boundaries(?R2=0.153,P<0.05)self-efficacy were good predictors,the level of PSE at middle level and the average total score was(6.61±1.00).By descending order,they were: learning,self-acceptance,empathy,emotion,play,pressure,control and discipline/setting boundaries.The score of maternal self-efficacy was significantly higher than that of paternal self-efficacy(P<0.05).PSE was significantly higher in caregivers who lived in cities than those who live in the countryside(P<0.05).And caregivers' educational background had significant effect on PSE.The higher the diploma was,the higher the level of PSE(P<0.05).1.2 SAS total score of 165 caregivers of children with ASD was(44.02±10.24)points,SDS total score was(50.07±9.66)and were respectively connected with the domestic norm value(29.78±10.01),(33.46±8.55)points difference was significant statistical significance(P<0.01),of which 38 cases(23.0%)had detected anxiety and a total of 65 patients(39.4%)had detected depression;2 The effect of Family-Focused Psychoeducational Therapy 2.1 The total of 64 fathers or mothers of children with ASD participated in this intervention,and the results showed that the difference of all TOPSE dimensions scores and average total scores in pre-,post-intervention,1 month's follow up for ASD children's parents were statistically significant(p<0.05);2.2 The positive detection rats of anxiety and depression of 64 parents in post-intervention and 1month follow-up lower than pre-intervention(p<0.05).Conclusion 1 Parents of children with ASD average self-efficacy rating suggested a moderate level,this clearly suggested that parents who were feeling less confident within parenting a ASD child,and the symptoms of anxiety,depression also showed obviously;2 Implementing FFPT intervention could effectively improve parents' parenting self-efficacy,and relieve anxiety,depression.
