The Research Progress Of The Antitumor Active Ingredients And Action Mechanism Of Astragalus Membranaceus

The traditional medicine can use by doctors so far because of its wide curative effect and small side effect as the essence of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).The astragalus is the tonic medicine that contains Astragalus polysaccharides,Astragalus saponins,flavonoids,amino acids and many kinds of trace elements according to the modern pharmacology study,which possess a wide range of medicinal benefits,including enhancing the body immunity,anti-aging,improving the body’s ability to resist stress,anti-bacterial,anti-virus,protecting cardiovascular system and anti-tumor effects.There are more antitumor active in Astragalus polysaccharides,Astragalus saponins,flavonoids,which play a role in antitumor by enhancing the body immunity,inhibitting the proliferation of tumor cells,inducing apoptosis of tumor cells and suppressing the blood vessels of tumor.The main objective of this article is to provide a new clinical thought for tumor therapy by reviewing the antitumor active ingredients and action mechanism of astragalus membranaceus.
