| Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,which represents a new public health problem,is one of the most common chronic liver diseases in the world,and has been paid more and more attention in recent years.It is not only the cause of end-stage liver disease and liver cancer,but also an independent risk factor for chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.For patients with NAFLD,lifestyle improvement,weight loss,and increased exercise are the most basic treatments.However,lifestyle intervention has the limitations of poor compliance,it is difficult to adhere to and succeed,so drug treatment is still necessary.So far,there is no NAFLD the most effective drug treatment program.Although studies have found that some drugs are beneficial to patients with NAFLD,many are concerned about the long-term safety of these drugs.Therefore,there is an urgent need to develop effective treatments for NAFLD,while emphasizing the importance of safe and non-toxic treatment options.Many studies show that in recent years,ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids can regulate lipid metabolism of the human body,the influence of risk factors of CVD andNAFLD,reduce the fat content in the liver,and has fewer side effects,may be an effective means of treatment of NAFLD. |
