The Effect And Prognosis Of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Combined With Natural Orifice And Anterior Recess Approach In The Treatment Of Benign Lesions Of The Maxillary Sinus

Objective: To study the effect and prognosis of endoscopic sinus surgery combined with natural orifice and anterior recess approach in the treatment of benign lesions of the maxillary sinus.Methods: From May 2013 to March 2015,in our hospital accepted treatment of maxillary sinus benign lesions in patients with 82 cases,which were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 41 cases in each.In the control group were treated by traditional surgery,the patients in the observation group were give endoscopic natural ostium enlargement combined anterior lacrimal fossa resection.Compared two groups of curative effect and prognosis.Results: The total effective rate of observation group was 87.80%(36 /41),significantly higher than that of the control group of 68.29%(28 /41),the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The observation group's operation time and the intraoperative bleeding volume were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The recurrence rate in observation groupwas significantly lower than that of the control group,the postoperative complication rate was significantly lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Endoscopic sinus surgery combined with natural orifice of the anterior recess in the treatment of benign lesions of the maxillary sinus is significant,and the prognosis is better.
