ObjectiveICU critically ill patients are often in a state of malnutrition and high metabolism, early enteral nutrition plays an important role in improving nutrient supply, maintaining normal gastrointestinal digestion, absorption and immune function, reducing hospital stay, and reducing mortality, but the incidence of enteral nutrition complications reduced the therapeutic effect of enteral nutrition. The purpose of this study is to investigate three kinds of enteral nutrition complications which include diarrhea, constipation, reflux in ICU critically ill patients and to explore the related risk factors,to provide a basis for preventive intervention and appropriate treatment of enteral nutrition.MethodsThrough literature review and expert discussion to identify possible risk factors for complications of enteral nutrition, which include age, nasal feeding rate, nasal feeding volume, type of nasal feed, whether diabetes, sex, whether application of antibiotics, whether renal insufficiency, whether fasting, whether application of analgesics, whether oral potassium preparations, whether mechanical ventilation.Retrospectively analyzed relevant information of 759 enteral nutrition patients in three top three hospitals of Qingdao from September 2015 to October 2016,count and analyse the incidence and risk factors of complications related enteral nutrition by SPSS19.0 statistical software, performed a monofactorial analysis of suspected risk factors by ?2 test,to initially determine the risk factors for enteral nutrition complications, then lead all the suspected risk factors into multivariate logistic regression analysis to screen the risk factors for enteral nutrition complications.Results267 patients occurred diarrhea in ICU during enteral nutrition, the incidence was 35.17%.212 patients occurred constipation, the incidence was 27.93%.226 patients occurred reflux, the incidence was 29.77%.The occurrences of diarrhea and non-diarrhea patients in whether application of antibiotics, age, whether fasting, whether oral potassium preparations, nasal feeding rate, nasal feeding volume are statistical different; The occurrences of constipation and non-constipation patients in nasal fluid of constipation, whether application of analgesics, age, nasal feeding rate, nasal feeding volume are statistical different; There were statistical differences between patients with reflux and non-reflux in whether use of mechanical ventilation, age, nasal feeding rate, nasal feeding volume.ConclusionApplication of antibiotics, increased age, fasting, oral potassium preparations, increased nasal feeding rate, increased daily feeding volume are risk factors of diarrhea;Short peptide enteral nutrition solution, application of analgesics, increased age are risk factors of constipation for enteral nutrition patients;Mechanical ventilation, age, increased nasal feeding rate, increased nasal feeding are risk factors of reflux for enteral nutrition patients, when the above risk factors exist, measures should be taken to prevent the occurrence of the corresponding complications.
