Two medicinal plants,Acorus tatarinowii and Phyllanthus urinaria were found to be with significant anti-complement activity according to the results of screening,and the anti-complement constituents of these two plants were further studied being guided by screening.The thesis is composed of the following parts:(1)The anti-complement activity of33 medicinal plantswere screened with the improved Takahashi method,and the results showed that extracts of Triperygium hypoglaucum and other 17 plants showed anti-complement activity,with hemolysis rates of more than 80%.The extracts of six plants,Triperygium hypoglaucum,Ilex rotunda,Sparganium stoloni erum,Acours tatarinowii,Phyllanthus urinariaandResina draconis' were fractioned by solvent partition with petroleum,chloroform and aqoues methanols,and the anticomplent activity of the extracts were screened again,showing that the exact anticomplement activity from the methanol extracts of Acours tatarinowii,Phyllanthus urinaria were confirmed and the active fraction were the 50% aqoues methanol fractions in both plant extracts..(2)By using a variety of separation techniques,including different types of atmospheric column chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),etc,seven compounds were isolated from the 50% methanol fraction of Acours tatarinowii,By using 13C-NMR,1H-NMR and 2D-NMR methods and with comparison of reported data.the structures of the compounds were identified as:threo-1',2'-dihydroxyasarone(1),2,4,5,2',4',5'-hexamethoxy-7,8'-epoxy-8,7'-oxyneolignane(2),(1'R,2'S)-1',2'-Dihydroxyasarone(3),(7S,8R)-Dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol(4),N-trans-coumaroyl octopamine(5),N-trans-feruloyl tyramine(6),?-asarone(7).(3)By using a variety of separation technology including different types of atmospheric column chromatography,high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),etc,four compounds were isolated from the 50% methanol fraction of Phyllanthus urinaria L.,their structures were identified by using 13C-NMR,1H-NMR and 2D-NMR methods,with thecombinantion of literature data.The compoundsare: Gallic acid(8),Corilagin(9),Methyl gallate(10),Geraniin(11).
