Rupture of the posterior wall of the left ventricle during mitral valve replacement surgery is a infrequent complication with fatal.According to the literature, the incidence of left ventricular rupture in patients with mitral valve replacement is about 0.5% ~ 2%,with a mortality rate of about 75%.The age and sex of the patients, mitral stenosis, failure of valve implantation on left ventricular structure, excessive resection of posterior chordae and calcification of aortic annulus, resulting in early myocardial ischemia and edema, mechanical or bioprosthetic valve prosthesis is improper, mechanical damage to the wall during surgery, positive inotropic drugs such as excessive application so,many factors lead to left ventricular rupture, this article summarize the research progress of complications in recent years,to improve the understanding of the complications,to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. |
