Salmonella is an important cause of food-borne illness in humans and animals with widely distributed in word, bringing great harmful to human and animal’s health.Meat food has rich nutrition, created a strong condition for the growth of Salmonella, which has become a major sources for the growth and reproduction. Therefore, the contamination of Salmonella in meat food has an important influence on food hygiene and public health. This study aims to investigate the prevalence, serovars and antimicrobial resistance of Salmonella from different sources,in order to providing scientific basis for the prevention and control of Salmonella and the rational use of antibiotics in livestock and poultry production in Xuzhou.Performing molecular typing such as multilocus sequence typing(MLST),pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE)in these isolates,in order to determine the relationship between strains from different sources and the route of Salmonella transmission, providing data for control of Salmonella in Laboratory basis.1.Identification,drug-resistance analysis of Salmonella isolated from Agricultural Products inXuzhouFrom May 2015 to October 2014,a total of 324 samples of meat products were collected from different sources in Xuzhou, which isolated 155 strains of Salmonella. The total isolation rate was about 35.5%.Serological identification results showed Derby was the major serotype which has a 28.7%isolation in Xuzhou.Antimicrobial sensitivity testing indicated that the highest resistance rate was against tetracycline,as high as 92%.Among the β-lactams studied,a high level of sensitivity, which is 100%sensitive to meropenem. In addition, the multi drug resistance of Salmonella was also serious,80%of the strains resistance to antibiotics at least 3 antibiotics.2.Molecular subtyping of Salmonella isolated in XuzhouA total of 13 sequence types were identified among the Salmonella isolates from different sources inXuzhou,ST40 was the most observed ST,followed by ST11、ST463、ST469.PFGE subdivided the 25 Salmonella Derby isolates including 4 strains from humans into 19 distinct pulsotypes. The similarity of Salmonella from humans surpassed 90 percentag, but only 59 percentag with the animal originals of which indicated that Salmonella could change the genetic material in the process of transmission with different host.
