ObjectivesOur study is mainly to discuss the role of vitamin D in osteoporosis combined with hypertension or type 2 diabetes or dyslipidemia through detecting the level of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 in osteoporosis patients with or without hypertension or type 2 diabetes or dyslipidemia.Methods1.Collecting information of participants who were first diagnosis of osteoporosis from Fujian Provincial Hospital during January 2014 to October 2016.Participants were grouped into three couple:(1)osteoporosis with hypertension(OH group)and osteoporosis without hypertension(OS1 group),(2)osteoporosis with type 2 diabetes(OD group)and osteoporosis without type 2 diabetes(OS2 group),(3)osteoporosis with dyslipidemia(OL group)and osteoporosis without dyslipidemia(OS3 group),(4)enough vitamin D group(VDE group)and vitamin D deficiency group(VDD group).2.Record all clinical data and laboratory results of all participants who met inclusion and exclusion criteria requirements.3.Statistical processing: use SPSS 19.0 statistics software process the data, comparing the grouping variable difference, select statistically difference variables, and using the Spearman rank correlation analysis the correlation between the variables. And if P < 0.05,then we think the difference was statistically significant.Results1.Compared with OS1 group,25-hydroxyvitamin D level of OH group(16.56±7.86)is lower than the OS1 group(22.51±8.56)(P < 0.05);Compared with OS2 group,25-hydroxyvitamin D level of OD group(17.73±8.50)is less than OS2 group(24.13±7.30)(P < 0.05);Compared with OS3 group,25-hydroxyvitamin D level of OL group(17.91 ± 9.01)and OS3 group(21.64 ± 7.12)were no statistically significant difference(P = 0.069 > 0.05).2.Compare with VDE group, the age of VDD group(68.00±9.35)higher than the VDE groups(61.03±11.75)(P<0.05);the height of VDD group(155.45±6.57)is lower than the VDE group(158.47±5.76)(P<0.05);the systolic blood pressure of VDD group(143.80±19.56)higher than the VDE groups(131.29±18.68)(P<0.05);the total triglyceride of VDD group(2.23±2.06)higher than the VDE group(1.21±0.97)(P< 0.05);the HDL-c of VDD group(1.17±0.35)is lower than the VDE group(1.44± 0.42)(P<0.05);the fasting blood glucose of VDD group(9.07±3.50)higher than the VDE group(6.94±3.38)(P<0.05).3.After controlling confounding factors,Spearman rank correlation analysis: 25-hydroxyvitamin D was negatively correlated with systolic blood pressure(r =-0.218,P < 0.05);negatively correlated with triglyceride(r =-0.288,P < 0.05);positively related with HDL-c(r=0.269,P < 0.05);not statistically significant correlated with fasting plasma glucose(r =-0.204,P = 0.204).Conclusions1.Low level of vitamin D is a risk factor for osteoporosis complicated with hypertension.2.Low level of vitamin D may be associated with osteoporosis complicated with type 2 diabetes.3.Vitamin D level associated with lipid metabolism in patients with osteoporosis.Vitamin D level was negatively correlated with triglyceride, and positively correlated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol level.
