?Objective? To investigate the changes of different stages of blood pressure variability in acute cerebral infarction, and to further explore the impact of antihypertensive drugs on blood pressure variability.?Methods? This was a retrospective analysis of study of 274 inpatients with acute cerebral infarction from January 2012 to June 2013,which meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The basic information, blood pressure data,Magnetic Resonance Imaging, biochemical indicator and drug intervention of these inpatients were collected.Blood pressure variability indicated days variability and was quantified by calculating the standard deviation(SD)? coefficient of variation(CV).For these variability might positively correlated with mean of blood pressure, the additional variability measure,SD independent of mean(SDIM),was also calculated.Collate all the data, then take SDIM median(P50)as a boundary: greater than P50 were defined as high component SDIM,less than P50 were defined as low component SDIM.Logistic regression analysis was performed in the data of age, sex, time of onset, length of stay, past medical history, and smoking history, biochemical indicators, different antihypertensive drugs and dehydrating agent, prognosis, mean pressure and blood pressure variability and so on,to explore the impact of antihypertensive drugs on blood pressure variability.?Results?By Logistic regression analysis,age(P=0.007),antihypertensive drug intervention(P=0.00)were statistically significant.Age(OR=1.028,95%CI 1.008~1.050)may be risk factor of blood pressure variability, and antihypertensive drug intervention(OR=0.332,95% CI 0.189~0.582)was protective factor. There was no correlation between gender, prognosis, length of stay, previous history of hypertension and blood pressure variability. The use of antihypertensive intervention decomposed into calcium antagonists(CCB),Ras drugs,? blockers and dehydrating agent, then using Logistic regression models, the statistical results suggest that the CCB antihypertensive drugs(P = 0.037)with significant differences.?Conclusion? Age,antihypertensive drug intervention are factors of systolic blood pressure variability in acute cerebral infarction.Age may be the weak risk factor of blood pressure variability, and antihypertensive drug intervention, especially CCB,can lower the risk of blood pressure variability in acute cerebral infarction. Therefore, the clinical rational using of antihypertensive drugs and the reasonable controling of systolic blood pressure levels can reduce blood pressure fluctuations.
