Objective: To investigate whether aspirin contributes to the recovery of peripheral nerve injury. Methods: Thirty male SD rats weighing 200-220 g were randomly divided into aspirin group and normal saline group. The rats in the experimental group were given aspirin solution(10mg / ml,50 mg / kg)for one time / day,and the control group was given equal volume of saline irrigation.stomach.The sciatic nerve function index(SFI)of the two groups was calculated at the second, fourth, sixth and eighth week after operation. The levels of sciatic nerve function index(SFI)were calculated at the fourth, and sixth week after operation The sensory nerve regeneration distance(Pinch test)was measured. The bilateral gastrocnemius muscle was taken at the second fourth, sixth and eighth week after operation. The wet weight ratio was calculated at the sixth and eighth week after operation, gastrocnemius was fixed,The rate of sciatic nerve conduction, latency and amplitude were measured at the eighth week postoperatively. The recovery rate of conduction velocity was calculated at the fourth and eighth week after operation, the left sciatic nerve of rats was immunized with S-100 antibody,Olympus software was used to calculate the number of Schwann cells in the field of vision and statistical analysis. At the eighth week after operation, the proliferation of Schwann cells and the changes of myelin sheath were observed under electron microscope. Results: The general observation: aspirin group of mental state, diet compared to the control group better.Aspirin group showed paw reflex, the function of the toe was restored earlier, about the third to the fourth week after the operation, the control group of paw reflex recovery later, about the sixth weeks after surgery improved;the fourth week after the visible saline group The nerve of the anastomotic distal nerve was thinner than the proximal end,the elasticity of the anastomosis was weakened, and the anastomosis was not seen. The aspirin group showed a small amount of vascular anastomosis, and the nerve elasticity was good, and the distal nerve had no obvious diameter The sciatic nerve function index(SFI): The second week after surgery, due to the contralateral toe contracture, natural sagging, the foot can not start, can not support the ground, the ischial function index can not be detected.(P <0.05).The sensory nerve regeneration distance(Pinch test)was higher in the aspirin group than in the saline group, and the recovery rate was longer in the aspirin group than that in the saline group at the fourth, sixth and eighth week postoperatively.(P <0.05).The difference of the wet weight ratio of gastrocnemius muscle was not statistically significant except for the second week, but the difference was statistically significant at the fourth, sixth and eighth week aspirin group((P <0.05).The electrophysiological test of the asthmatic group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P <0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The frequency of aspirin group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Immunohistochemistry The expression and distribution of S-100 protein in aspirin group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P <0.05).The electron microscopy showed that the expression of S-100 protein in the aspirin group was significantly higher than that in the control group The thickness of the myelin sheath was high, the shape of the rule was round or oval, the aspirin group with complete sheath nerve fibers, thickening of the sheath, arranged neatly, aspirin group myelin sheath distribution is better, the thickness is more uniform, neatly arranged,The nerve fibers of the control group were slightly loose, the myelin sheath was distorted, the thickness of myelin was different and the shape was irregular. Conclusion: Aspirin has the effect of promoting the repair of peripheral nerve injury.
