Objective: To investigate the prognostic value of serum PCT combined with coagulation indexes, and find out the correlation of them in patients with ARDS.Methods: Clinical data of patients from ICU from January 2014 to June 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.Fifties ARDS patients were enrolled who received PCT and coagulation indexes(APTT?PT?FIB)tests within 24 h,on third day and on 7th day, respectively. To predict the survival states of patients by Spearman analysis and receiver operator characteristic curve(ROC),putting PCT and coagulation indexes into discussion. Results: PCT and coagulation index(APTT,PT,FIB)level in death group were higher than these in survival group(p<0.05),and PCT level on third day and on 7th day in death group(64.786±13.343,80.372±17.534)were much higher than these in survival group(5.110±2.789,2.295±0.942),especially PCT level on 7th day had more statistical significance in predicting death.Coagulation index(APTT,PT,FIB)level in these two groups didn't have statistical significance, but APTT and PT level in death group were longer than these in survival group,FIB was less. The Area Under roc Curve of PCT combined with coagulation indexes(0.952)was higher than that of PCT or coagulation indexes alone in predicting death group(respectively 0.9437 ? 0.951 ? 0.9048 ?0.8859).Conclusion The elevated levels of PCT and abnormal coagulation index predict higher mortality in patients with ARDS,and coagulation index PCT with FIB and PT has the correlation.
