Objectives To investigate the rates and impact factors of antiplatelet and lipid-lowering treatments in patients with hypertension and diabetes in Chongqing. Methods The survey was conducted through paper questionnaire in patients with hypertension and diabetes in tertiary and secondary hospitals in Chongqing from September2014 to December2015.Data was collected by clinical physicians and was analyzed through SPSS19.0.Survey process was controlled strictly. Results In hypertension and diabetes patients included(n=1800),the rates of taking antiplatelet drugs and lipid-lowering drugs with statins were 28.9% and 45.7%,respectively.Outcomes included:1.Men accounted for 54.7%.50~59 years,60~69 years,70~79years patients accounted for 40.4%,47.4%,12.2%,respectively.There were no significant difference in ratios of taking antiplatelet and lipid-lowering with statins drugs among different sex and age groups(P>0.05).2.In all patients surveyed, patients with junior college and above education degree, secondary education degree and elementary or lower education degree accounted for 29.0%,60.1%,10.9%,respectively;antiplatelet treatment ratios were 53.1%?18.9%?19.4%,respectively;and lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were 69.5%?36.6%?34.2%,respectively.The antiplatelet and lipid-lowering with statins treatment rates were higher in the group of junior college and above education degree than in the groups of elementary and secondary education(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between elementary and secondary group(P>0.05).3.In all patients surveyed, patients participated in medical insurance for workers or urban residents, participated in new rural cooperative medical insurance, without medical insurance accounted for 77.7%,15.8%,6.5%;antiplatelet treatment ratios were 31.1%,21.8%,19.7%,respectively;and lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were 54.0%?19.0%?12.0%,respectively.The antiplatelet and lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were decreased in sequence from patients with other medical insurance?patients with health insurance for workers and urban residents to patients with new rural cooperative medical insurance(P<0.05),and were not significant different between patients with new rural cooperative medical insurance and without medical insurance(P>0.05).4.In all patients surveyed, patients from tertiary and secondary hospitals accounted for 73.4%,26.6%;antiplatelet treatment ratios were 33.2%,16.9%,respectively;lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were 48.8%,37.2%,respectively.Antiplatelet and lipid-lowering with statins treatment rates were higher in tertiary hospitals than in secondary hospitals(P<0.05).5.In all patients surveyed, patients from departments of cardiology, endocrinology, general internal medicine accounted for 18.4%,55%,26.6%;antiplatelet treatment ratios were 39.8%,31.0%,16.9%,respectively;lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were 48.2%,49.0%,37.2%,respectively.The antiplatelet treatment ratios were higher in patients from cardiology departments than in patients from departments of endocrinology and general internal medicine(P < 0.05);while ratios were higher in endocrinology departments than in general internal medicine departments(P<0.05).The lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were higher in patients from cardiology and endocrinology departments than in patients from departments of general internal medicine(P<0.05);while ratios were not significant different between cardiology and endocrinology departments(P>0.05).6.In all patients surveyed, patients complicated with coronary heart disease(CHD)and/or stroke accounted for 27.2%.The antiplatelet treatment ratios in patients with or without CHD and/or stroke were 66.1%,15.0%,respectively;lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratios were 62.2%,39.5%,respectively;antiplatelet and lipid-lowering with statins treatment ratio was 24.4%.The antiplatelet and lipid-lowering with statins treatment rates, combined treatment rates were both higher in patients with complications above than in patients without complications above(P<0.05).7.In all patients surveyed, patients with blood pressure(BP)of <140,140 ~ 159,?160mmHg accounted for 38.1%,37.9%,24.0%;the antiplatelet treatment ratios were 29.5%?38.2%?13.2%,respectively.The antiplatelet treatment rate was higher in the 140~159mmHg group than in the <140mmHg group(P<0.05),and the rate was higher in the <140mmHg group than in the ?160mmHg group(P<0.05).Blood glucose control group and lipid-lowering group had higher lipid control rates(P<0.05).8.In all patients surveyed, patients with blood glucose controlled accounted for 51.8%.The blood lipid control ratio was higher in the blood glucose controlled group than in the blood glucose uncontrolled group(P<0.05).The blood lipid control ratio was higher in the lipid-lowering with statins group than in the group without lipid-lowering with statins(P<0.05).Conclusions The antiplatelet treatment and lipid-lowering therapy with statins are underused in hypertension and diabetes patients in Chongqing.Education degree, medical insurance, hospital degree, complications may be the influence factors.
