Objective Comparison the changes of higher-order aberrations after femtosecond laser in situ keratomiIeusis(FS-LASIK)and 1aser-assisted subepithelial kerateetomy(LASEK)combined with Q-value optimized ablation.Methods Prospective study.Eighty eyes of 80 myopia patients were collected from Ningxia Eye hospital.40 eyes were treated with FS-LASIK and 40 eyes with LASEK combined with Q-value optimized ablation.Only the right eye was selected to be analyzed from each patient.Oculyzer analytical system was used to measure corneal aberrations before surgery and at 1 month,3 months and 6 months postoperatively.The data were analyzed using ANOVA,independent samples t test and pearson correlation.Results After six months,respectively,the ratio of uncorrected visual acuity reached to preoperative level was 95% and 97.5%,and the difference was not significant(P>0.05).Compared to preoperative Q-value,postperative Q-value in both the FS-LASIK and LASEK groups had changed from negative to positive,the differences were not significant(P>0.05).After surgery,corneal higher order aberrations increased with spherical aberration and coma increased primarily.At the 1 month after LASEK group,the aberrations of Sh?S3?S4?S6?Z31?Z40 were higher than the FS-LASIK group(P<0.05);At the 3 month after LASEK group,Sh?S4?Z40 were higher than the FS-LASIK group(P<0.05);At the 6month after LASEK group,the aberrations of Sh?S4?Z3-1?Z40 were higher than the FS-LASIK group(P<0.05).With the correlation analysis,at the postoperative 6rd month of two groups,there is a positively relationship between the aberrations of Sh?S3?S4?S6?Z40and preoperative spherical equivalent refraction(P<0.05).Conclusion(1)Q-value in both the FS-LASIK and LASEK after surgery to make patients get better uncorrected visual acuity and good stability.(2)Compared to preoperative,postperative Q-value in both the FS-LASIK and LASEK groups had changed from negative to positive,and there was no significant difference in the change of the value of the two groups.(3)After surgery,corneal higher order aberrations increased with spherical aberration and coma increased primarily,Compared with LASEK,FS-LASIK caused smaller change of high order aberrations.(4)There is a positively relationship between the aberrations and preoperative spherical equivalent refraction.(5)Compared with LASEK,FS-LASIK may be a better surgical method for correcting myopia.
