Application Of Elastic Intramedullary Nail In Pediatric Double Forearm Fracture

Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of three different methods in the treatment of ulnar radius fractures of children,and providing a reference for the selection of pediatric ulnar radius fractures.Methods: The clinical data of 48 patients with ulnar radius fractures were analyzed retrospectively from September 2012 to January 2017.we give precedence to Fracture of middle ulna and radius,According to the randomized controlled and blinded method,the patients were randomly divided into three groups: Group A: 9 males and 7 females,mean age(6.7±1.3)years old,with conservative treatment;group B: 9 males and 7 females,mean age(6.9±1.1)years old,Nail for treatment;group C : 8 males and 8 females,the average age(7.0± 0.9)years old,the use of plate screws for treatment.Results:The healing time of fracture in group A was 49.17 ± 4.24 days,the cure rate was 62.5%,the nonunion rate was 6.2%,the score of Anderson forearm fracture was 75%,the complication rate was 18.7%,In group B,the healing time was(35.01 ± 3.29)d,the cure rate was 87.5%,the nonunion rate was 0,and the score of Anderson’s forearm fracture was 93.7%.The operation time and intraoperative blood loss were(36.93 ± 4.24)min and(14.15 ± 2.86)m L;the complication rate was 6.25%;the nonunion rate was 12.5%,the fracture healing time in group C was(45.12 ± 5.49)d,the cure rate was 62.5% The operative time and intraoperative blood loss were(80.52 ± 6.65)min and(154.31 ± 16.86)m L A,B,and C groups,respectively.(P <0.05).Compared with A and C,the clinical efficacy of group B was significantly higher than that of group A and B(P <0.05),and the healing rate of B was significantly higher than that of group A and C.(P> 0.05).Compared with the two surgical methods,the operation time and intraoperative blood loss of group B were significantly lower(P <0.01).Conclusion: Conservative treatment,elastic intramedullary nail treatment and plate screw treatment can effectively treat ulnar radius fractures.However,compared with plate screw treatment and conservative treatment,elastic intramedullary nail treatment has a small incision injury,short operation time,closed reduction success rate Higher fracture healing faster,re-removal of fixed damage and other advantages.Compared with conservative treatment and plate screw treatment,the healing time is short and the cure rate is high.Therefore,during the three treatment methods,the choice of elastic intramedullary nail more secure.
