| Objective: To obtain the related risk factors of vascular calcification in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients in Qinghai region by collecting and analyzing the indicators of MHD patients in Qinghai region, therefore we can provide scientific basis for the early prevention and intervention of vascular calcification in MHD patients in Qinghai region. Methods: We have collected clinical datum of 154 MHD patients in Qinghai region. We recorded general information(such as name, sex, age, dialysis age, primary disease and so on)and detected biochemical indicators(such as Calcium(Ca),phosphorus(P),25-hydroxy vitamin D(25(OH)D),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),intact parathyroid hormone(i PTH),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and so on)and abdominal lateral plain radiograph. We divided 154 subjects into calcified group and non-calcified group according to the abdominal aortic with or without calcification. We used multivariate Logistic regression analysis and other related statistical methods to analyze and obtain the related risk factors of vascular calcification in MHD patients in Qinghai region.Results:1.The abdominal lateral plain X-ray radiograph showed that there were 73 patients with vascular calcification(47.4%)and 81 patients without vascular calcification(52.6%)in 154 MHD patients in Qinghai region.2.The results analyzed by statistical analysis are that the related risk factors of vascular calcification are age,Ca,P and ALP in MHD patients in Qinghai region(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The detection rate of vascular calcification in MHD patients in Qinghai region is about 47.40%.2.The old age, hypercalcemia, hyperphosphatemia and high serum ALP levels are the major risk factors for vascular calcification in MHD patients in Qinghai region. |
