Objective:To investigate the imaging findings, features and differential diagnosis of alveolar echinococcosis disease and lung metastases. Methods: Retrospectively analyzed 50 cases of alveolar echinococcosis and the other 50 cases of lung metastases confirmed in our hospital, jointed CT scanning and enhanced scanning. To analyze the patients with primary disease,CT performance and the signs: Tumor location, size, tumor and tumor around the CT signs such as lobulation, burr, halo sign, calcification, vacuoles, empty(flat, wall nodules or nodules, wall thickness),strengthen Degree and so on.The data was tested by using t test and ?2 test. Results: 50 cases of alveolar echinococcosis in patients with primary lesions are from the liver,7 cases of single lung lesions;50 cases of lung metastases in patients with primary lesions in the lung 16 cases,23 cases of liver, breast 6 cases, bone tissue 2 cases, thyroid 1 case, prostate 2 cases,4 cases of single lung lesions.50 cases of alveolar echinococcosis, the lesions were mainly distributed in the lungs and the lungs bottom,21 patients had pleural thickening;39 cases had calcification;15 cases had vacuoles,10 cases of them were eccentric and the edge of the wall appeared Calcification in 12 cases,1 case formed a huge irregular thick wall ?wall calcification and gas-liquid plane shadow;16 cases showed small nodules within the nodules;10 patients with chest CT enhancement,9 cases without enhancement,Only one lesions was slightly enhanced.50 cases of lung metastases, the lesions were mainly distributed in the lungs and the lungs bottom,5 cases caused pleural thickening;4 cases of calcification;2 cases of eccentric eccentricity;5 cases of small vacuoles;23 cases of chest CT enhancement,16 patients were significantly enhanced,7 patients with mild-moderate enhancement.Significant statistical differences were found between alveolar echinococcosis cases and lung metastases cases in the age, maximal lesion size, strengthening CT value, calcification, vacuoles, empty, cave nodule or wall nodule and pleural(P<0.05).The other was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: Alveolar echinococcosis is regional, occur in the pastoral area, green middle age more common,"target sign","empty bubble sign" and the characteristics of the empty cavity with diagnostic significance;Lung metastases have a clear primary history, occur in the elderly, mostly solid nodules.Combined with clinical history and lung CT performance, the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of these two diseases is essential.
