| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Qigong pill in the treatment of phlegm and dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome,compared with conventional treatment methods.Methods: Fifty patients with phlegm and dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome were divided into Qigong pill group and conventional treatment group.Patients of Qigong pill group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine modified Qigong pill,and conventional treatment group with colmifene and taie-35.The therapy was for 3 months.Main symptoms of rash,hirsute,menstruation,pregnancy and sex hormone level were observed and recorded before and after treatment,calculated and compared the total effect rate of the two groups,and evaluated the treatment effect.Results: The sex hormone level in both groups were significantly improved after treatment(P < 0.05),and these clinical symptoms such as facial rash,hypertrichosis,etc had been ameliorated,there was no statistical differene(P>0.05).For the treatment of menstrual disorders,the proportion of normal menstrual cycle recovery(91.3%)in Qigong pill group was higher than that of the conventional treatment group(60%)(P < 0.05).The pregnancy rate in the Qigong pill group(76.5%)was higher than that of the conventional treatment group(43.8%)among the married patients(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the Qigong pill group(76%)was higher than that of the conventional treatment group(40%)(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Both the modified Qigong pill and the conventional treatment methods can achieve good therapeutic effect in treating the phlegm and dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome.But in the recovery of menstrual cycle and pregnancy treatment,modified Qigong pill has its unique advantages,compared to the conventional treatment.The modified Qigong pill has the exact effect in treating the phlegm and dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome.it is worth popularizating and applicating in clinic. |
