Objective : To through the detection of 24 h urinary sodium, determine the individual daily salt intake, and to explore the relationship between salt intake nocturnal blood pressure and early renal damage in hypertensive patients. Methods: A total of 180 patients with nocturnal hypertension were recruited,including91 men and 89 women.Aged 18 to 83 years old.The subjects were divided into group A(>5g,n=145)and group B(?5g,n=35)according to the daily salt intake.Spearmen correlation was performed to analyze the relationship of salt intake and earlier renal damage.Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to investigate the independent risk factors of earlier renal damage. Results: The daily salt intake of male hypertensive patients was higher then female hypertensive patients.Overall incidence of earlier renal damage in group A was 31.7%,overall incidence of earlier renal damage in low group B was 8.6%.Daily salt intake was positive correlation with d SBP,d DBP,n SBP,n DBP(r=0.200,P<0.05;r=0.225,P<0.05;r=0.207,P<0.01;r=0.273,P<0.01).Daily salt intake also increased significantly with24 h microalbuminuria(r=0.350,P=0.000).The d SBP,d DBP,n SBP,n DBP was positive correlation with 24 h microalbuminuria(r=0.298,P<0.01;r=0.232,P<0.01;r=0.228,P<0.01;r=0.234,P<0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis and Partial correlation analysis showed that daily salt intake,24 h urinary sodium-to-potassiuma ratio,HRand n DSP were the influencing factor of earlier renal damage[?=7.858(95%CI 5.907~9.810),P<0.01;?=0.596(95%CI 0.316~0.877),P<0.01;?=-6.209(95%CI-9.908~-2.510),P<0.01;?=0.577(95%CI 0.014~1.141),P<0.05].Conclusion: Daily salt intake is positively correlated with the level of nocturnal blood pressure, and it is the influencing factor of earlier kidney damage inpatients with hypertensive patients.
