Objective Analysis of serum lipid levels in patients with coronary heart disease,to study the correlation between non-HDL-C/HDL-C ratio and severity of coronary artery lesions. Methods Two hundred and sixty-seven patients admitted to the department of cardiology of Shengli Hospital,Shengli Petroleum Administive Bureau, each patient recorded gender, age, body mass index(BMI),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),history of smoking and oral drugs such as aspirin, beta blockers, nitrates, statins, etc. On the next morning,267 patients wrer drue fasting serum blood and measured High sensitive C reactive protein(Hs-CRP),uric acid(UA),lipoprotein alpha(LP-?),apolipoprotein A-1(APOA-1),apolipoprotein B(APOB),and very low density protein cholesterol(VLDL-C),Total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),Then we calculated non high density lipoprotein cholesterol, non high density lipoprotein cholesterol / high density lipoprotein cholesterol respectively. All subjects underwent selective coronary angiography, and the main branches of the left and right coronary arteries were counted according to their main branches.According to coronary angiography results,267 patients(141 men and 126 women, mean age 62.97±9.66 years)were divided into 2 groups according to internationally adopted coronary artery diameter, patients having at least one major coronary artery?50% stenosis were defined as CHD group(n=128),The control group included 139 subjects with coronary artery stenosis less than 50%.The CHD group was further divided into three subgroups:single vessel diseased group(n=46),double vessels diseased group(n=31),multivessels diseased group(n=51).According to the the Gensini score results are divided into mild(1 point?Gensini score<23 points),moderate(23 points?Gensini score<66 points),and severe(Gensini score ? 66 points)disease group.Analyse the correlation between the ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C and the severity of coronary artery lesions.SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis,it is considered to be ststistic meaningful while P<0.05.Results 1.Comparison of the indices of the serum lipids between the two groups: no significant difference was found in the levels of plasma TC,TG,LDL-C,VLDL-C,APOA1 and LP-? between the two groups(P>0.05);however,there were significant differences in the levels of plasma HDL-C,APO-B,Hs-CRP,UA,LDL-C/HDL-C,non-HDL-C,Gensini score and non-HDL-C/HDL-C(P<0.05).2.Comparisons of the ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C in different subgroups:The ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C:multivessels diseased group were significantly higher than single vessel diseased group, double vessels diseased group and non-CHD groups(P<0.01).3.There was significant difference of non-HDL-C/HDL-C in different coronary artery lesion degree groups.(P<0.05)4.Correlation between The ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C and Gensini score:Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C had positive correlation with Gensini score(r=0.403,P < 0.01).5.Multiple linear regression analysis were conducted with Gensini score as the dependent variable and age,TC,apo B,Hs-CRP,GLU,UA,non-HDL-C/HDL-C ratio as independent variables,we got that the ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C to be closely associated with Gensini score(P<0.01).Conclusion the ratio of non-HDL-C to HDL-C is closely related to the severity of coronary artery, which is the most serious risk factor for coronary artery disease.
