Objective To study the relationship between the red blood cell distribution width(RDW)and coronary collateral circulation(CCC)in patients with chronic total occlusion(CTO).Methods Choose 190 patients with chronic total occlusion from department of cardiology in People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.Rentrop grade method is used to grading of CCC,divided into poor CCC group(110 cases)and good CCC group(80 cases).RDW value was measured by automatic blood cell analyzer.Result Poor CCC and good CCC group compared to diabetes history [37 cases(33.64%),25 cases(31.25%)],smoking history [37 cases(33.64%),27 cases(33.75%)],hemoglobin content [(142.99±13.68),(146.6±15.34)g/L],neutrophils value [(4.60±1.62),(4.43±1.52)10 ^ 9 / L],lymphocyte value [(2.01±0.66),(2.11±0.61)10 ^ 9 / L],BMI [(27.12± 4.67),(27.90 ±4.21)kg/m ^ 2],urea nitrogen [(5.88±1.61),(6.01±1.92)mmol/L],creatinine [(76.40±28.82),(74.54±15.84)?mol/L),uric acid [(326.36±100.62),(351.3±93.07)?mol/L],triglycerides [(1.67±1.03),(1.96±1.50)mmol/L] and total cholesterol [(4.23±1.29),(4.07±1.19)mmol/L] were not statistically significant(P>0.05);Poor CCC group and good CCC group compared with the age [(62.60±9.73),(60.93±9.26)],the history of high blood pressure [60 cases(54.55%),55 cases(68.75%)] and RDW [(13.69±0.93)%,(12.51±0.34)%] were statistically significant(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis found that plasmatic levels of RDW are negatively correlated with CCC(r=-0.920,P<0.01).Logistic regression analysis showed that RDW was an independent predictor of poor collateral circulation formation in CTO lesions. Conclusion In patients with CTO lesions, high levels of RDW are closely related to the CCC generate adverse and is found to be independent predictors of poor CCC. |
