Background and objective: In recent years, with the continuous development of medical technology, the application of invasive operation, all kinds of antibacterial drugs, especially the wide use of broad-spectrum antimicrobial agents, offered opportunities to bacteria infection, resistance and widespread. That caused great harm to the patient's health and life.Multi-resistant bacteria is more easily to be produced and disseminated in intensive care unit(ICU)because the patients with a critical condition, low resistance and centralized management. So it is important to investigate and analysis the changing drug resistance, production regularity, risk factors of drug-resistant bacteria to guide our treatment strategies. This study selected patients of ICU with multiple drug-resistant bacteria infection from 2012.01 to 2016.06 as the research objects, aimed to solve the following questions:(1)The investigation of the overall infection situation of multi-resistant bacteria and the infection distribution,is to guide clinical treatment.(2)Factors such as the patient's age, length of hospital stay influenced the multiple drug-resistant bacteria infection.(3)The discussion of exploring the risk factors of multiple drug-resistant bacteria infection is useful to choose sensitive antibiotics, reduce multiple drug-resistant bacteria infection rate and prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infection. That could provide the basis for the implementation of scientific and effective intervention measures. Methods: This study chose ICU patients with multiple drug-resistant bacteria infection in our hospital between January 2012 and June 2016 as the research object, investigated and collected the corresponding data, including patient's gender, age, medical condition, catheter indwelling, pathogenic bacteria, drug sensitive information. Results: 1.The composition of multidrug resistance strains was investigated. From January 2012 to June 2016,positive results were found in 3053 cases, among which 1147 were multidrug resistant bacteria, accounting for 37.57%.Among them,1127 were gram negative(G~-)bacteria,accounting for 98.26%;gram positive(G~+)bacteria 20,accounting for 1.74%;G~-bacteria were mainly Acinetobacter baumannii, and G~+ bacteria were Staphylococcus aureus(Bauman).2.The relationship between age and the distribution of multi drug resistant bacteria. The older, the rate of multi drug resistant bacteria infection was higher. The 60-74 years old group had the highest infection rate of 36.97%.3.Stay with ICU time and multidrug resistant bacteria infection. The longer hospital stay, the higher the hospital infection rate. The lowest hospital infection rate was ?10 days group(5.96%),the highest hospital infection rate was ?30 days group(71.59%).4.The source and distribution of ICU infection strains were integrated.1147 strains were isolated from clinical specimens of ICU patients, mainly from sputum culture of 1036 strains, accounting for 90.32%.Additionally,there were 62 cases of urine,20 cases of secretion culture,18 cases of blood culture,9 cases of ascites culture,7 cases of cerebrospinal fluid culture and 4 cases of pleural effusion. It can be found that the location of multi drug resistant bacteria in ICU is mainly located at the lower respiratory tract. Conclusions: 1.Multiple drug-resistant bacteria infected in ICU patients were mainly composed of acinetobacter baumannii gram-negative bacteria and infection portion concentrated mainly on the lower respiratory tract.2.Age and length of stay in intensive care unit and multi-resistant bacteria infection rates were positively correlated.
