Discussion On The Theory Of Five Odors And Its Application In Febrile Disease

Objective: Through the arrangement of five odors related literature,induce the essence of five odors theory;explore the relationship between five odors theory with zang fu,Qi and blood,Ying and Wei,discussing the auxiliary effects of odors qi theory and edible qi therapy;that,summarized the application of five odors theory within diet regimen and viscera regulation,intimating the connection between zangfu viscera,Qi and blood within promotion and demotion of Qi,to provide theory reference for febrile disease prevention and clinical treatment,also help to manufacture of five odors medicine inhalation.Methods: The paper revolved around theory of five odors in TCM,using the method of literature research combined with theory explore,to analysis,inducing and arranging elaboration and application of five odors relevant systematically,summarized the material of proposition.Results: Five odors theory in TCM is the necessary part of five elements model,and it is widely used in medical practice and daily life;five odors in zang organ support to move blood and fluids;odors from herbs also help to moist zang fu,promoting Ying and Wei,inspiring the Yuan-Qi to control the febrile disease by reconciling Yin and Yang.Conclusion: Five odors in TCM integrated within the five zang organs and moisten the whole body;five odors get into zangfu via the nose to accommodate the whole blood and Qi by Lungs system;odors from food and herbs can diffuse the aperture,to protect the healthy atmosphere,resisting pathogen,Pathogenic within heat make inroads on lung viscera disease firstly,and,it is contribute to the prevention and treatment for febrile disease with application of food and herbs odors therapeutic thinking.The extension of the theory will provide support for external treatment as sneezing and other therapy of traditional Chinese medicine,five odors medicine by nasal inhalation will be bound to human health and health undertakings.
