Differences Of Two Patients With Different Pain Syndromes In Morphine Titration

Objective:Correlation between TCM research Hou and morphine titration process,two different syndromes whether the differences in morphine titration.Methods:74 cases with moderate to severe cancer pain numeric rating scale(numereic range scale,NRS)greater than or equal 4 points in cancer patients enrolled in the study based on criteria of the study into the row.Evaluation of pain intensity throughout the digital score(NRS);patients enrolled in studies or need to take to complete the first Brief Pain Inventory(Brief Pain Inventory,BPI)before drugs.Should be completed immediately BPI pain scale outbreak.TCM syndrome type at entry,take the most common clinical blood deficiency syndrome,toxic heat syndrome is enrolled intrinsic syndromes.According to the Ministry of Health,"Cancer Pain Clinic norms" and NCCN Adult Cancer Pain Guidelines(China 2010 edition)the principle that the use of morphine tablets were titrated over 24 hours until the pain control(NRS? 3),recording titrated to achieve the required number of pain control and the total dose of morphine use.It also records the improvement of quality of life and adverse drug reactions before and after treatment.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 19.Results:When 41 cases of blood deficiency syndrome treatment of pain average 5.07±1.13,and the average titration was 4.39 ± 0.83 times the number of complete titration of the average total dose of morphine was 24.76 ± 9.15mg.Extent of 33 cases of toxic heat pain syndrome intrinsic average 5.85 ±1.00,4.87±0.60 times the average titration times to complete titration average total dose of morphine was 33.48±10.93mg.By t test,P<0.05,so the difference was statistically significant.According to BPI scale,the quality of life in patients with changing statistics,results improved significantly before and after treatment in everyday life,mood,walking ability,the ability to work,relationships,sleep six areas.Conclusions:Two different types of cancer pain syndrome there are some differences in the degree of pain,morphine titration number and total dose of morphine,pain and blood deficiency syndrome lighter,smaller than the intrinsic toxic heat syndrome of morphine on the number and total dose titration.Morphine titration adverse reactions lower incidence of treatment to improve the quality of life of patients.
