Analysis Of WNK1-WAC Translocation Mutation In Blood Tumor Patients

Objectives:To detect the incidence and distribution of WNK1-WAC gene translocation in patients with hematological malignancies,and to analyze the pathogenesis and recurrence mechanism of ANLL and other blood tumors.Methods:Bone marrow fluid samples from 300 patients with different types of blood tumors were collected from the Department of Hematology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from April 2014 to May 2015,and 10 patients with nonmalignant hematologic malignancies were selected as controls.PCR and RT-PCR combined with agarose gel electrophoresis were used to detect the translocation of WNK1-WAC gene in patients with hematological malignancies.Results:WNK1-WAC gene was not found in 300 patients with different hematologic malignancies(141 cases of AML,32 cases of ALL,30 cases of CML,14 cases of CLL,18 cases of MDS,25 cases of MM,40 cases of NHL)and 10 cases of nonmalignant hematologic malignancies.Conclusions:WNK1-WAC gene translocation mutation was not detected in the patients with hematologic malignancies in our hospital,probably due to the small sample size,or in this race,no WNK1-WAC gene translocation mutation,and the development of the disease was not relevant to the gene.
