Glaucoma is one of the common causes of blindness worldwide,with the aging population increasing the prevalence of glaucoma increased year by year.This article mainly introduces the main treatment trends of open angle glaucoma,including medical therapies,laser therapies and surgical therapies.And the surgical therapies includs trabeculectomy,glaucoma drainage implants surgery,nonpenetrating glaucoma surgery and microinvasive glaucoma surgery.The use of medical therapies and laser trabeculoplasty have increased over the past decade,while invasive incisional surgery have decreased.In addition,developing microinvasive glaucoma surgery aims to fill the huge gap between conservative medical management and invasive glaucoma surgery.
