| Background:Spontaneous coronary artery dissection(SCAD)is an infrequent type of the coronary disease,of which the cause are still unknown.Current studies have shown that some cases of SCAD are associated with fibromuscular dysplasia, hormonal changes, delivery and connective tissue diseases etc.The lack of knowledge of SCAD and the limitations of coronary angiography are responsiblefor the misdiagnosis of this SCAD.With the advent of new imaging modalities, particularly intravascular ultrasound(IVUS)and optical coherence tomography(OCT),whichcan provide detailed morphological information, enhanced the diagnostic rate of SCAD greatly. However, the clinical heterogeneity, the lack of morbidity pathology physiology foundation research, and some misleading view, hinder the rapid diagnosis and optimal management of SCAD.Objective: To review the epidemiology, etiology, presentation, diagnosis, and management of SCAD.Methods:we use the spontaneous coronary artery dissection, intima hematoma, intravascular ultrasound, optical coherence tomography, diagnosis and treatment as the keywordsto search, find out related researches of coronary artery dissection, and summarized the epidemiology, etiology, clinical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment etc.Result and conclusion : There are a lot of case repots and cohort studiesof SCAD.Integrated these results,we discovered that the etiology and pathogenesis are still vague, and the diverdity of clinical features. The diagnosis mainly depends on imaging evidence.Medical therapiessuit stable patients. However, some other patients need vascular reconstruction. |
