Comparison Of The Perioperative Therapeutic Effectsty Between TLIF And PLIF On Senile Lumbar Degenerative Disease

Objective:To compare the perioperative therapeutic effectsty of the transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion(TLIF)and posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF)for the treatment of single segment senile lumbar degenerative disease.Methods: During the period from April 2015 to October 2016,there were 51 patients who were over 60 years old with single segment lumbar degenerative disease,had received operations with two kinds of surgical methods,at the trauma department of orthopedics in Yi Jishan Hospital.According to the different surgical methods,they were divided into TLIF group(n = 22)and PLIF group(n = 29),recording operation time,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative drainage the number of blood transfusion,the incidence of complications and blood transfusion,postoperative hospitalization time,preoperative and postoperative 1 week VAS scores.Results:All the patients received successful operations,no serious complications were discharged,lumbar and leg pain and other symptoms of diseases caused by eliminating or significantly improved curative effect.To compair the operation time,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative drainage,postoperative hospital stay and other indicators,the data of TLIF group was less than PLIF group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There were 1 case complication and 1 case blood transfusion in TLIF group;there were 8 cases complication and 8 cases blood transfusion in PLIF group;the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Preoperative hemoglobin similar between the two groups has no statistical significance(P > 0.05),two groups ofpostoperative 1 day hemoglobin difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),two groups of postoperative 1 day compared with preoperative hemoglobin lower amplitude difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After 1 week,the VAS scores were significantly lower than that before surgery,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Preoperative and postoperative 1 week,there was no statistically significant(P > 0.05),between the two groups about the VAS scores.Conclusion:(1)TLIF and PLIF are two kinds of treatment of senile degenerative lumbar disease,which are effective operations with satisfactory curative effect.(2)TLIF perioperative safety is higher than PLIF to treat single segmental senile lumbar degenerative disease with small operation scope,little tissue damage degree,short operation time,little intraoperative and postoperative blood loss,low blood transfusion rate,low incidence of complications and short postoperative hospital stay.
