Clinical Analysis Of ERCP In Treament Of Elderlt Patients With Common Bile Duct Stones

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of therapeutic ERCP in the treatment of elderly patients with common bile duct stones.Methods Retrospective analysis from March 1,2015 to March 1,2016 in the endoscopy center of Guangxi Medical University underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)clinical data of treatment of elderly patients with pancreaticobiliary diseases,compared elderly group with non elderly group patients about cholelithiasis ERCP operation mode,treatment success rate,complication rate and mortality.Results 267 times ERCP were performed to treat 236 common bile duct stones patients.Group A was older than 80 years old patients underwent ERCP operation 20 times,group B were aged 60 to 80 years old patients were successfully treated by ERCP operation 110 times,group C was aged 18 to 60 years old in the young group,a total of 137 times of operation.ERCP cured rate between the 3 group were 100%,99% and 100% respectively,the success rate of stone removing were 70.6%,75%,91.9%.ERCP treatment efficiency,postoperative pancreatitis,cholangitis,bleeding and other complications had nosignificant difference between the three group,no perforation and death caused by ERCP.Conclusions ERCP is safe and effective in the treatment of elderly patients with common bile duct stones.
