BACKGROUNDLaryngeal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the head and neck. Most of them are laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC),and the incidence of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC)is increasing. In recent years, the incidence rate is not clear,So scholars are committed to exploring the development mechanism of laryngeal cancer.Tumor cell energy metabolism changes such as the Warburg effect in tumor proliferation, apoptosis, metastasis and so play an important role.Fatty acids are an important substrate for energy metabolism, and fatty acid metabolism in tumor cells is abnormally active.Changes in fatty acid metabolism-related gene expression may affect the biological behavior of tumor cells.OBJECTIVEIn order to further explore the mechanism of fatty acid metabolism in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma,we investigated the effects of Adipose differentiation-related protein(ADRP)and Acetyl CoA acyltransferase 1(ACAA1)on fatty acid metabolism-related genes)Gene in LSCC,and toanalyze its relationship with clinicopathological parameters and provide a theoretical basis for further experimental study.METHOD1.Real-time PCR was used to detect the transcription expression level of ADRP and ACAA1 in LSCC.2.Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression level of ADRP and ACAA1 in LSCC.3.To analyze the relationship between fatty acid metabolic genes ADRP and ACAA1 and the clinical characteristics of LSCC samples.RESULTS1.Real time PCR results showed that ADRP and ACAA1 were downregulated in LSCC.2.Immunohistochemical stainingindicated that ADRP and ACAA1 protein were downregulated in LSCC,the different expression level was statistically.3.The expression of ADRP and ACAA1 in LLSCC is correlated with the degree of TNM staging and differentiation.CONCLUSIONThe expression of ADRP and ACAA1 in LSCC was associated with LSM staging and pathological grade of LSCC,suggesting that abnormal expression of fatty acid metabolic genes may be involved in the development of LSCC,which may provide a new way to explore the mechanism of LSCC.
