Clinical Study Of Honghua Xiaoyao Soup In Treating Liver And Spleen Deficiency Type Of Fatty Liver

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to study on clinical effect of Honghua Xiaoyao Powder in the treatment of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type of fatty liver,explore its mechanism,to evaluate the curative effect and safetyMethods:Select and randomly divide 60 patients with Liver and spleen deficiency type of fatty liver pectoris into experiment group and control group within which contains 30 patients each.Patients in both groups do not differ at basal level.In addition to regular Western medication,300 m L of water-boiled honghua xiaoyao Soup are applied to experiment group taking one dose twice a day in diurnal cycle;control group is only applied with regular Western medication.Total period of treatment is 3 months.From observation and statistical analysis of the symptoms of traditional Chinese medication,Abdominal color Doppler ultrasonography and the results fromlaboratory test assay of all patients,evaluate the effectiveness,elucidate the mechanisms and study the potential toxicity of honghua xiaoyao Soup.Results:After 3 months of clinical study and verification,improvement results of angina pectoris treatment obtained from experiment group is superior over control group;symptoms of traditional Chinese medication have significantly reduced in experiment group compared to control group;overall treatment effects of traditional Chinese medication is more superior in experiment group.In terms of Abdominal color Doppler ultrasonography changes,decreases in dosage of Nitroglycerin etc.,outcomes differences are largely detectable between 2 groups of subject patients: experiment group is significantly superior over control group.Experiment group has also improved more than control group in laboratory test assay.No statistically significant differences are detected in kidney function index test,indicating no potential toxicity is associated with honghua xiaoyao Soup application.Discussion: Clinical trials have confirmed that honghua xiaoyao Soup is capable of improving the clinical symptoms of patients with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type of fatty liver pectoris.The mechanism may be related to the promotion of the metabolism of lipid in liver cells and the improvement of hepatic microcirculation.The study confirmed that the safety is good,it is worthy of clinical application.
