Objective The purpose of this paper is to study the biological variation of carcino-embryonic antigen?glucoprotein antigen 19-9?glucoprotein antigen72-4?alpha-fetal protein?human chorionic gonadotrophin?glucoprotein antigenl5-3?glucoprotein antigen 125?neuron-specific enolase?keratin-19 and total prostate specific antigen.Methods ROCHE e601 electrochemical luminescence analyzer was calibrated and the methodological performance was evaluated through the paper of Clinical and Laboratory Standards Instiute.120 healthy adults were recruited to establish a reference interval for the above tumor markers suitable for the laboratory.55 healthy adults were recruited through the questionnaire survey,this experiment adopted the experimental method of the relevant biological variation literature and study the individual biological variation within the individual?biological variation between individuals?reference change value and individual index of common tumor markers in 55 healthy adult volunteers.Results(1)In this study,we obtained the data of biological variation within the individual?biological variation between individuals?reference change value and individual index of 10 common tumor markers.(2)The average biological variation within the individual of 10 common tumor markers was different.Among them,the result of CA15-3 and AFP was lower and NSE and CA21-1 was higher.The rest of the test results are between them.(3)The result of biological variation between individuals of CA153 was lower and CA19-9 was higher in the test of 10 common tumor markers The rest of the test results were between them.(4)There was big difference of the test result in reference change value of 10 common tumor markers.(5)Individual index of each project are relatively close.Conclusions(1)This study obtained biological variation of 10 common tumor markers database which is based on the Chinese in the case of our laboratory.(2)This study established the biological variation data based on the Chinese population of common tumor markers.The data is basically the same with the database of Spanish Society of Clinical Chemistry and Molecular Pathology,but there are few differences in some projects.There are many important meanings by using the biological variation data to evaluate the reference interval of tumor markers,reference changes and clinical application.
