Preliminary Study On The Synergistic Effect Of Sanfu Paste On Ankylosing Spondylitis

Research purposes:Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is an intractable disease characterized by sacroiliac arthritis and the rigidity of the spine.This study was to evaluate the Sanfu paste effect of combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation internal and AS,for the Sanfu paste combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation internal and provide evidence-based medicine AS the basis.Research methods:Using a prospective,randomized,controlled study,64 patients with AS patients were randomly divided into treatment group of 32 cases,32 cases of Chinese medicine group,treatment group received Sanfu paste and oral decoction of TCM;Chinese medicine group treated with TCM oral Decoction.The TCM differentiation is divided into kidney deficiency and stasis syndrome,and it is given in the case with Bushen Qiangji decoction,Qingre Qiangji decoction.The course of 90 days.Use ASAS20,ASAS40,ASDAS-CRP,combined with TCM syndrome curative effect evaluation and HAQ,from the disease curative effect,TCM syndrome,the quality of life three aspects to evaluate the treatment effect of the AS Sanfu paste.The results of the study:Evaluation of the effectiveness of the disease:ASAS20:the ASAS20 target was 62.07%,higher than 46.67%of the Chinese medicine group,and no significant difference between the two groups.The ASAS20 index was 82.76%,higher than 56.7%in the Chinese medicine group,and there were significant differences between the two groups.ASAS40:the ASAS40 rate was 48.28%for the 40 days after the treatment,higher than the 26.67%of the Chinese medicine group,and no significant difference between the two groups.The ASAS40 target rate was 55.17%,higher than 40%of the Chinese medicine group,and no significant difference between the two groups.Night pain VAS,PGA,BASDAI and BASFI index:two groups of patients with nocturnal pain VAS,PGA,BASDAI and BASFI index in 40 days,90 days after therapy were obviously improved than before treatment,significant difference.The night pain score of the treatment group and the BASDAI score were lower than those in the Chinese medicine group for 40 days and 90 days,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.The PGA and BASFI indexes were below the group for 40 days after the treatment,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.The PGA and BASFI indexes were lower than those in the Chinese medicine group for 90 days after the treatment,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.ASDAS-CRP:40 days after the treatment,the patients in the high mobility in treatment group period(85.71%),patients in the mobility period(25%)and total period(38.46%)were higher than in Chinese medicine group(57.14%,12.5%,27.59%),but was no significant difference between the two groups;90 days after the treatment,the treatment group activity after the treatment period in patients(50%)and total period(50%)were higher than in Chinese medicine group(37.5%,37.5%),but was no significant difference between the two groups,Chinese medicine group of patients with high mobility period(85.71%)than in treated group(71.43%),but was no significant difference between the two groups.TCM syndrome:TCM syndrome integral:40 days and 90 days after treatment,the improvement of the treatment group(34.48%,62.1%)were higher than in Chinese medicine group(30%,30%),but was no significant difference between the two groups.TCM syndrome:(1)the lumbosacral,chest,back and neck pain:40 days and 90 days after treatment,the scores of the treatment group were lower than that of Chinese medicine group,the comparison between the two groups had no significant difference.(2)the limitation of activity:40 days and 90 days after treatment,the scores of treatment group were lower than that of Chinese medicine group,40 days after therapy comparison between the two groups have significant differences,90 days after treatment was no significant difference between the two groups.(3)morning stiffness:40 days after the treatment,the score of the treatment group was higher than those of the Chinese medicine group,and there was no significant difference between the two groups;After the treatment of the 90 days,the score of the treatment group was lower than the Chinese medicine group,and there was no significant difference between the two groups.(4)pain in night:40 days and 90 days after treatment,the score of the treatment group were rated lower than those in the Chinese medicine group,and there was no significant difference between the two groups.Quality of life:(1)HAQ disability index:the scores of HAQ disability index were significantly improved in the 40 days and 90 days after the treatment.The scores of the treatment group after 40 days and 90 days were lower than those in the Chinese medicine group,and there were significant differences between the two groups.(2)HAQ discomfort index:patients with 40 days and 90 days of treatment were significantly less likely to score on the HAQ index,but the difference was not significant.After 40 days of treatment,the score of the treatment group was rated below the Chinese medicine group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.After 90 days of treatment,the HAQ index was lower than the Chinese medicine group,and there were significant differences between the two groups.Conclusion:The results show that the Sanfu paste with Chinese medicine treatment in ASAS20 success rate compared with the pure traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),improve the symptoms of restricted movement,improve HAQ is significant disability and HAQ discomfort index advantage;The two groups of treatments had a significant effect on the night pain VAS,PGA,BASDAI and BASFI,which improved AS patients.With the extension of treatment time,the treatment of 90 days,Sanfu paste with Chinese medicine treatment has a significant advantage on improve ASAS20 and HAQ discomfort index.The treatment is safe and no apparent toxicity.
