Background:The quality of medical service is the core competitiveness of medical institutions and also the basis for the existence and development of hospitals.Patient satisfaction is a key indicator to measure the quality of hospital services and evaluate the relationship between doctors and patients.More and more scholars are beginning to focus on and practice the assessment of the quality of medical care for patients.In 2015,the national health and Family Planning Commission and the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine issued a meeting to implement the plan of healthcare improvement initiative("action plan")to improve quality of medical service,satisfaction of patient.The "action plan" evaluated from the perspective of supplier and demander.Objective:In this context,this paper focuses on the scores of evaluation indexes of medical service affecting patient satisfaction of medical institutions,and that correlation with patient satisfaction.Methods:The data were collected by third party evaluation,the data of patient satisfaction were analyzed by descriptive statistics,single factor analysis and regression analysis to find the indexes affecting patient satisfaction.The correlation analysis between the scores of evaluation indexes affecting patient satisfaction and evaluation of patient satisfaction was analyzed by correlation of spearman.Results:(1)There are fourteen indexes affecting the satisfaction of outpatients(p<0.01).The correlation analysis of the scores of evaluation indexes affecting patient satisfaction with patient satisfaction of the above indexes showed that there are nine indexes which coefficient is positive,two indexes which coefficient is negative.(2)There are nine indexes affecting the satisfaction of inpatients(p<0.01).The correlation analysis of the scores of evaluation indexes affecting patient satisfaction with patient satisfaction of the above indexes showed that there are six indexes which coefficient is positive,one index which coefficient is negative.Research conclusions:(1)There is a certain correlation between the current-medical service quality assessment score and patient satisfaction,but the correlation is not strong.(2)the results also show that some indexes are not significantly correlated,even negative correlationl,which tells us that we need to complete and perfect the current-evaluation indexes of medical service further.(3)we should not rely on the current-evaluation indexes of medical service to asses and rank the hospitals,should pay attention to the complementary evaluation of index systemContributions and innovation points:This research finds the indexes affecting patient satisfaction by the evaluation of patient.Then,focuses on the correlation between the scores of evaluation indexes of medical service affecting patient satisfaction of medical institutions and patient satisfaction to perfect indexes of evaluation,and rank the medical institutions for policy makers,provide certain enlightenment and reference.
