Comparison Of Efficacy And Safety For TF Regimen Or XELOX Regimen As Postoperative Adjuvant Treatment In Gastic Cancer

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety for Paclitaxel liposome with 5-FU or Capecitabine with Oxaliplatin as postoperative adjuvant treatment in gastic cancer,and evaluate the different therapeutic result in different subtype.Methods: 107 patients with gastric cancer were enrolled,which were divided into TF arm(69 cases)and XELOX arm(38 cases).Then evalete the disease-free survival rate(DFS),overall survival rate(OS)and side effect of them.Results: In therapeutiee effect,1-year,2-year,3-year DFS rate of TF arm and XELOX arm were 81.2%VS71.1%,60.9%VS52.6%,52.2% VS 44.8%,respectively.1-year,2-year,3-year OS rate of TF arm and XELOX arm were 94.5% VS 89.5%,73.9% VS 76.3%,65.2% VS 65.8%,respectively.The mDFS of TF arm and XELOX arm were 38 months and 24 months(P=0.581).The m OS were 48.4 months and 44 months,respectively(P=0.331).Subtype analysis show that mDFS of TF arm and XELOX arm were 36 months and12 months(P=0.046),m OS were44.6 months and 28 months(P=0.071)in diffuse type gastric carcinoma,respectively.In the aspect of adverse envent,the rate of leukopenia were higher in TF arm(P<0.002),to the contrary the rate of Peripheral nerve toxicity were higher in XELOX arm(P=0.002).NO statistically significant in other adverse events.Grade 3/4 adverse event mainly oacurred in leukopenia and Nausea and vomiting,also no statistically significant in grade 3/4 adverse event.Conclusion: 1.Efficacy for Paclitaxel liposome with 5-FU were equivalent with Capecitabine in combination with Oxaliplatin as postoperative adjuvant treatment for gastic cancer,there were no statistically significant in DFS and OS.2.In diffuse type gastric carcinoma,there were better DFS for Paclitaxel liposome with 5-FU.3.Paclitaxel liposome with 5-FU regimen were safety as postoperative adjuvant treatment for gastic cancer.
