ObjectiveTo evaluation acoustic radiation force impulse(ARFI)applied value in the diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy(DN)in installment.Methods60 patients with diabetic nephropathy selected as experi-mental group.choose 30 health volunteers as the control group.For all entrants,we have on the kidney of conventional ultrasound.Then,we use virtual touch tissue quantification to measure the shear wave velocity(SWV)of right kidney essence.ResultsMogensen installment of the experimental group was as follows.There are 26 cases in the early diabetic group and 16 cases in the microalbuminuria group and 18 cases in the uremia group.The aspect ratio difference between the uremia group and others groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).The aspect ratio difference among the rest of groups had no statistically significant(P>0.05).With the progress of DM,renal cortical thickness was more and more thin.the early diabetic group> in the microalbuminuria group> the uremia group.The renal cortical thickness difference between the uremia group and the microalbuminuria group,between the uremia group and the early diabetic group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The renal cortical thickness difference between the microalbuminuria group and the early diabetic group was statistically significant P<0.05).The renal cortical thickness difference between the early diabetic group and the normal control group had no statistically significant(P>0.05).The shear wave velocity(SWV)of the control group,the early diabetic group,the microalbuminuria group and the uremia group respectively is(2.67±0.30)m/s,(2.69±0.24)m/s,(2.37±0.25)m/s,(1.92±0.21)m/s.The SWV value difference between the uremia group and others groups was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The SWV value difference between the microalbuminuria group and the early diabetic group,between the microalbuminuria group and the normal control group had statistically significant(P<0.05).The SWV value difference between the early diabetic group and the normal control group had no statistically significant(P>0.05).The renal cortical thickness was positively related to the kidney aspect ratio(P<0.05),the correlation coefficient was 0.270.The renal cortical thickness was significantly positively related to SWV value(P<0.01),the correlation coefficient was 0.661.The aspect ratio had no correlation to the SWV value in diabetes mellitus patients(P>0.05).ConclusionsIn diabetes mellitus patients,the aspect ratio of kidney can manifestation morphological disorders characteristics which had certain diagnosis significance.Since diabetes microalbuminuria period,renal cortical thickness was more and more thin.Renal cortical thickness could indirectly reflect degree of kidney damage.Virtual touch tissue quantification(VTQ)could noninvasive and quantitative reflect the change of kidney tissue resilience.SWV value could quantitatively evaluate degree of kidney damage.Virtual touch tissue quantification(VTQ)provide a new parameter which is noninvasive and quantitative to the diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy in installment.Virtual touch tissue quantification had a good prospect of clinical application.
