Objective:To compare the early efficacy and safety between VATS and thoracotomy lobectomy in the treatment of stage I non-small cell lung cancer. Methods: Collect the patients with stage I non-small cell lung cancer from September 2015 to December 2016 in our department. In total,97 patients were included in the study, and they were divided into observation group(VATS Group,VP)and control group(Thoracotomy Group,TP)according to the differences of operation modes. The results including operation time, intraoperative blood loss, indwelling time of thoracic duct, postoperative hospital stay, use time of anodyne, number of lymph node dissection and number of stations, specific station lymph node clearance and total hospital cost were compared between the two groups after operation.Result:1.The difference including intraoperative blood loss, indwelling time of thoracic duct, use time of anodyne and postoperative hospital stay between VP and TP has statistical significance(p<0.05),VG is much less than TG.2.The operation time between VG and TG has significant statistical differences,VG spends more time than TG.3.There is no statistical significance between VG and TG in total hospital cost, and number/ stations of lymph node dissection(p>0.05).4.The clearance rate is no significant statistical difference between the two group in station 2,4and7.5.The overall complication after operation between VG and TG is no significant statistical difference(p>0.05).But,arrhythmia in TP is more than VG,the difference has statistical significance(p<0.05).Conclusion: Compared with traditional open thoracic surgery,VATS has less trauma, faster postoperative recovery, less postoperative complications. And the effect and safety between VG and TG is no statistical difference.VAYS is worthy to be widely used in the treatment of stage I non-small cell lung cancer.
