Background: Oligonucleotide / oligosaccharide binding fold 1(OBFC1)is homologous to the Stn1 gene of yeast and is one of the important genes involved in the regulation of telomeres function [1,2].So far,there is little research on the correlation between OBFC1 gene polymorphism and lipids at home and abroad.In order to understand the relationship between this gene and blood lipid,we have carried on the related research.Objective: To explore the relationship between OBFC1 rs4387287 polymorphism and blood lipid level,and to understand the effect of this gene on longevity population in Hongshui River Basin of Guangxi.Method:The 2262 subjects were divided into four groups: the longevity group(496 person)was the longevity elderly in the Hongshui River Basin in Guangxi(age > 90 years,with an average age of 93.27 ± 3.01).The longevity children group(723 person)was the longevity of the Red River in Guangxi.,aged 40-75 years,who is the offspring of the longevity elderly.Non-longevity family in Guangxi Red River Basin was aged 40-75 years,Which is the local control group(611 person).The control group(432 person)was the age of 40-75 years old with an average age of 60.58 ± 7.99 in the Pingguo area,Which is pingguo control group.The selected population was Zhuang.The aim of this study was to measure the height,body weight,blood pressure,blood lipid and blood glucose,and to study the OBFC1 rs4387287 locus by modified multiplex enzyme-linked reaction(improved multiplex ligation detection reaction,iMLDR)technique to understand the effect of gene polymorphism on blood lipid.Results:1.The levels of TG and HDL in the longevity group were lower than those in the longevity group and the non-longevity group(P <0.05),but the SBP and DBP had the opposite trend.The clinical data(blood lipid,blood glucose and blood pressure)The levels of CHOL,LDL,SBP and blood glucose in Pingguo control group were lower than those in longevity group and non-longevity group(all P <0.05).2.genotype and allele frequency distribution of OBFC1 rs4387287 genotype The genotype was more common in CC genotype,the frequency was71.3%;the frequency of CA genotype was 24.5%;the frequency of AA genotype was 4.2% The frequency of C allele was 83.6% and the allele frequency of A was 16.4%.The frequency of the A allele in the longevity group was 16.2%;the frequency of the longevity group was 15.8%;the frequency of the non-longevity group was 15.3%;the frequency of the control group was19.2%,and the A allele was The frequency of the control group was higher than that of the other three groups(all P <0.05).In the non-longevity group,male CC genotype frequency was higher than that of the same group.The frequency of A allele was lower than that of the same group(P <0.05).3.OBFC1 rs4387287 genotype and allele on blood lipid levels in the population In the control group,the CHOL level of CC genotype was higherthan that of non-CC genotype(P=0.014).The level of CHL and TG in CC genotype were higher in non-CC genotype than that in non-CC genotype(P<0.05),and the level of HDL in CC genotype was lower than that in non-CC genotype(P = 0.008,respectively).The CHOL level of CC genotype was lower in non-CC genotype(P=0.028)than in male group of longevity group and non-longevity group.(P =0.001),the level of HDL was lower than that of non-CC genotype(P=0.041)in the normal blood lipid subgroup,and the level of TG was higher in non-CC genotype,CC genotype TG and HDL levels were lower than non-CC genotypes(P =0.014,0.037,respectively);no significant differences were found in abnormal blood lipid subgroups.The level of HDL in the CC genotype of the longevity group was lower than that of the non-CC genotype(P = 0.023)in the normal BMI subgroup,and the CHOL and LDL levels of the CC genotype were higher in the normal control group Non-CC genotype(P = 0.010,0.013,respectively).4.The levels of CHOL,TG and LDL were positively correlated with BMI,sex,age and diastolic blood pressure.The level of HDL was positively correlated with BMI,sex,age,body weight and diastolic blood pressure,and the difference was statistically significant Related.OBFC1 rs4387287 genotype(AA)was positively correlated with CHOL level in the male population of the longevity group and non-longevity group.OBFC1 rs4387287 genotype(AA)was associated with CHOL,TG levels were negatively correlated.Conclusions:1.OBFC1 rs4387287 polymorphism is associated with TC and TG levels,and its A allele may be a favorable allele for reducing blood lipid levels in patients,especially CHOL and TG.2.The A allele of OBFC1 rs4387287 polymorphism could enrich the TCand TG levels in the male population,but it had no obvious effect on the blood lipid level of the red water river population in Guangxi.
