Objectives There are many controversy regardings about the safety of ovarian preservation in adenocarcinoma of the cervix. The aim of this research is to analyze the risk factors for ovarian metastasis in these patients. Methods Retrospective review identified adenocarcinoma of the cervix in 109 patients which removed the both ovaries by operation in the Affiliated Tumer Hospital of Guangxi Medical University between January 2007 and August 2016.Analyze the incidence of the following risk factors for ovarian metastasis: FIGO stage?histologic type? positive lymph nodes? deep stromal invasion? corpus invasion ?LVSI? age ?the level of preoperative serum CA125 and HE4 ? growth way of tumor ?tumor size?pathological type.Statistical methods :All datas are analysed by spss17.0 Software packet, categorical data is analysed by chi-square test.Independent risk factors are analysed by multifactorial Logistic regression,P<0.05 is defined as statistically significant.Resalt 3 cases(2.8%)of ovarian metastasis in 109 patients with adenocarcinoma of the cervix had following risk factors:FIGOstage? corpus invasion ?LVSI ?growth way of tumor? Multifactorial analysis appears that corpus invasion and growth way of tumor are the independent risk factors in diagnosis of ovarian metastasis in early adenocarcinoma of the cervix.Iconography examinations have superiority in diagnosis of ovarian metastasis. Conclusions Corpus invasion and growth way of tumor are the independent risk factors in prognosis of ovarian metastasis in adenocarcinoma of the cervix.Ovarian preservation with early-stage adenocarcinoma of the cervix is safe. |
