Objective: The purpose of our study was to explore the clinical significance of TL1 A in LN by measuring the serum level of TL1 A of patients of LN.Methods: A population-based case-control study was conducted in the study.60 LN patients were selected as experimental group. We recruited 34 healthy people as control group whose age and gender was matched with experimental group at the same time.We collected blood samples of these patients and and then measured serum levels of TL1 A by ELISA.SPSS 13.0 software was used to statistical analysis. The difference of serum TL1 A levels between the experimental group and the control group was analyzed by rank sum test, and the correlation between serum TL1 A level and disease activity, and laboratory parameters was analyzed by Spearman correlation test.Results:1.The serum level of TL1 A of LN patients(827.80±235.84pg/ml)was significantly higher than healthy control(589.26±87.31pg/ml),?<0.01.2.The serum TL1 A level of LN activity group was higher than stable LN group and healthy control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The serum level of TL1 A of LN stable was higher than the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05)3.The serum level of TL1 A in LN patients was positive correlation with SLEDAI?CRP?anti-dsdNA?AnuA,was negative correlation with C3?C4?and ALB.There was no correlation between serum levels of TL1 A and SCR,and C1 q,and C1q-Ab.Conclusion: Serum TL1 A levels in LN patients and closely related with disease activity.TL1 A may plays an important role in the pathogenesis LN.There is an impotant clinical significances to judge the severity of disease and to Select treatment options.
