Part ?:The role of protection and related mechanism of morroniside in myocardial ischemic reperfusion injury on rat modelObjective The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of morroniside on MIRI in a rat model and reveal the possible mechanisms behind it.The obvervational index mainly include the expression of the apoptosis gene Bcl-2 and Bax,the infarction area percentage,the tissue section and the myocardial enzyme.Method Healthy male Spraguee Dawley rats were randomly allocated to three groups:sham,ischemia/reperfusion(IR),and morroniside.The group of IR and morroniside are made IRI models through surgery.Serum creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)were assayed.The infarct size was determined by triphenyl tetrazolium chloride staining.The tissue section are observed through microscope.The apoptosis gene Bax and Bcl-2 was assessed through real-time polymerase chain reaction.Results Compared with the sham group,the infarct size percentage,the serum creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)level,the damage of tissue and the Bax and Bcl-2 gene expression level were significantly rised in the IRI and morroniside group.Compared with the IR group,the infarct size percentage,the serum creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)level,the damage of tissue and the Bax gene expression level were significantly reduced in the morroniside group,while Bcl-2 gene expression level was significantly increased.Conclusion This experiment demonstrate that morroniside provides an enhanced protection against myocardial IRI and may through the Bcl-2-linked apoptotic signaling pathway.Part?:The association between serum gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT)Level and arteriosclerosis in healthy crowds participating in physical examinationObjective To explore the association between serum gamma glutamyhransferase(GGT)and arteriosclerosis in healthy people having health examination.Methods A total number of 199 subjects participating in physical examination from2014.9-2015.6 were recruited to undergo anthropometric measurement,biochemical evaluation,and brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)measurement.According to the results of baPWV measurement the participators were divided into arteriosclerosis group and the control group.Through carrying on analysis to explore the relationship between serum gamma glutamyhransferase(GGT)and arteriosclerosis.Results The serum GGT of the arteriosclerosis group is higher than the control group(p<0.05)and the serum GGT of the severe arteriosclerosis is higher than the mild and moderate arteriosclerosis group(p<0.05).Logistic regression analysis revealed that age,high blood pressure,hyperlipidemia and serum GGT is Independent predictors of arteriosclerosis.Conclusion The serum GGT of the arteriosclerosis group is higher than the healthy populations.GGT is a Independent predictors of arteriosclerosis which should draw us more attention.
