Objective: By collecting relevant literature, compare clinical efficacy of Benign prostatic hyperplasia treated by Photoselective laser vaporization of the prostateand,(PVP)and Transurethral resection of the prostate,(TURP).Method: In accordance with the requirements of the Cochrane Collaboration Networkworkbook, computer retrieval: English retrieval: PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library, web of Scince et.Chinese search: Wan Fang,VIP,CNKI,CBMdisc et.Collect and comparison of randomized controlled trials of PVP and TURP in the treatment of BPH,The two reviewers independently screened the literature, evaluated the quality and extracted the data, and then cross checked them.Use statistical software RevMan5.3 to complete meta analysis.Result: Finally,12 articles were included, all were randomized controlled trial, total sample size of 1451 cases,PVPgroup of 732 cases,TURPgroup of 719 Cases.Meta analysis results: PVP group was shorter length of stay than TURP group[(P<0.01),95%CI(-3.63~-2.13)],Postoperative indwelling catheter time is short[(P<0.01),95%CI?(-2.42~-1.21)],less drop inhemoglobin after surgery[(P<0.01),95%CI(-1.36~-0.71)],Low incidence of postoperative blood transfusion[(RR=0.1,P<0.001),95%CI(0.04~-0.26)];6 months after operation, there was no significant difference in IPSS and Qmax(P>0.05).Conclusion: PVP and TURP can significantly improve the symptoms of patients with mild to moderate hyperplasia of prostate, have similar clinical curative effect,But compared with TURP,PVP operation safer,a shorter in hospital stay and postoperative catheterization time, there was no significant difference between PVP and TURP in long-term efficacy.
