Comparison Of Flexible Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy And Super-micro Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy For Renal Calculi ≤2cm In Diameter

Objective:To investigate the effect and security of Flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy(FURL)for renal calculi(diameter ≤ 2cm),combined with Super-micro Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy.Mathods:56 patients with renal calculi(diameter ≤ 2cm)whom have taken operation treatment in our hospital were chosen from May 2015 to December 2016.Among them,26 patients were taken super-micro percutaneous nephrolithotomy treatment(SMP group)and 30 patients were taken flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy treatment(FURL group).The operation time,blood boss,stone clearance rate,postoperative hospitalization,postoperative complications rate were compared.Result:The operative time was 60-110(mean 87.0±20.3)min and 35-90(mean 45.3±13.5)min in PCNL and SMP group,respectively(P<0.05).Blood boss was 3-10(mean8.6±2.4)ml and 10-25(mean 25.3±4.6)ml in PCNL and SMP group,respectively(P<0.05).Two days after the surgery,1 month stone clearance rate was 83.3%(25/30)and93.3%(28/30)in PCNL,was 88.4%(23/26)and 96.2%(25/26)in SMP group,respectively(P>0.05).Postoperative hospitalization was 3-6(mean 2.7±1.0)d and2-5(mean 2.4±0.8)d in PCNL and SMP group,respectively(P>0.05).Postoperative complications rate was 6.7%(2/30)and 7.7%(2/26)in PCNL and SMP group,respectively(P>0.05).Lower calyx calculi clearance rate was 57.1%(4/7)and100%(6/6)in PCNL and SMP group,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusions:Both FURL and SMP are effective and safe treatment for renal calculi(diameter≤2cm).For Lower calyx calculi(diameter≤2cm),SMP macadam effect is better than FURL.SMP might be suitable for extracorporeal lithotripsy failure many times after previous surgical interventions.SMP have removed completely,the advantages of shorter operation time,It could be desirable to be further popularized for treatment of renal calculi.
