Background:At present, more and more research on the knee meniscus injury, but most studies have focused on the diagnosis and treatment of meniscus injury, the meniscus damage causes and damage factors of less influence mechanism is studied in this paper, relationship between posterior tibial slope and half months before the board after the tilting angle of the relationship, but there is no research reported the posterior tibial slope and meniscus length. This topic from the relationship between posterior tibial slope and meniscus to the normal Chinese tibial retroversion angle and meniscus length were measured, and the correlation analysis,so as to further understand the risk factors of meniscus injury, lateral tibial plateau meniscus allograft meniscus design and simulation function of knee prosthesis at the meniscus of the to provide guidance for the choice. Methods:Total 50 healthy volunteers were recruited(male was 25,and female was 25).The average age was 27.8 ± 3.5 years in male and 24.2 ± 0.8years in female. All of them denied the knee trauma history. All of their right knees were scanned by MRI with full extension position. The scanning direction was sagittally perpendicular to the femoraltransepicondylar axis and was along with the tibial mechanical axis. The medial and lateral PTS were measured by using Hashemi described method. The anterior-posterior horn of the medial and lateral meniscal sagittal lengths including the height, horizontal length, and curve length were measured. The statistical analysis on the correlation of PTS and meniscal length used SPSS 17.0.Results:The medial tibial plateau angle(n = 50)with an average of 7.86 ±2.73 degrees, the lateral posterior tibial slope(n = 50)the average angle is7.47 ± 3.14 degrees. The average value of the anterior horn of the medial meniscus horizontal length was 13.61 ± 2.05 mm,the posterior horn of the medial meniscus horizontal average length was 22.18 ± 2.44 mm,medial meniscus anterior angle and average height of 7.91 ± 1.17 mm,the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and average height of 8.73 ±1.43 mm,the average value of the anterior horn of the medial meniscus surface length is 15.51 ± 1.12 mm,the posterior medial meniscus The average angle of curve length was 22.36 ± 0.47 mm.in the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus horizontal length was 15.86 ± 2.06 mm,the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus horizontal length was 17.43 ±3.84 mm,the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus and average height of7.20 ± 1.22 mm,the average height of the lateral meniscus after the angle is 8.50 ± 1.46 mm,the average value of the lateral the anterior horn of themeniscus curve length is 22.71 ± 5.27 mm,the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus curve average length was 17.90 ± 0.37 mm.The posterior horn of the medial meniscal horizontal length had significant correlation with the medial PTS.(r =-0.409,p = 0.025).The other meniscal lengths had not correlation with the medial or lateral PTS.(P>0.05)Conclusion:The more PTS increased, the more the posterior root of medial meniscal length decreased.Other meniscal lengths had no correlation with the PTS.This study was meaningful for furtherly understanding the meniscal injury mechanisms, for tibial prosthesis design to mimic meniscal function, and for choice of the allograft meniscus transplant.
